Exchange programs are an exciting and important part of the B.E International Program curriculum with its focus on international education. Living and studying in a foreign country can provide a valuable and enriching experience for any student. As well as improving English skills, the experience enhances self confidence and a sense of independence. Through exposure to other educational systems and interaction with people from other countries, a student develops a more global perspective. Those who have an interest in future graduate study in a foreign country can use this as an opportunity to "test out" ther ability to be successful in different educational and cultural environments.

The B.E. International Program has, at present, 17 active exchange agreeements with top universities in seven countries where students can spend a semester or a year of international study and living. Course work is carefully selected to meet the degree requirements of the B.E. Program, and credits earned in each international institution are transferred back in to the student's record. Tuitio fees are paid to Thammasat University and waived at the receiving institutions - students will be responsible for housing and living costs, and travel expenses.

Students should have satisfactory completed at least two years of study in the B.E. Program, have sufficient english language competence and the motivation to follow through with the application process. There are different GPA requirements in dividual institutions, however, we consider students with 2.85+. Those interested should be discussing this study option with their advisor and the International programs office as soon as possible. This is a competitive program which will first consider those students who have properly prepared themselves and their academic plans.
