Information for International Students.

Students who wish to study at the BE Program of Thammasat University as part of an official exchange program should check the list of our current exchange partners. If your university appears in this list, please contact your International Office for information on application and selection requirements.

If your university does not appear on the list, you may be interested in studying at the BE Program as a non-degree student.

The following information may be of assistance to you as an incoming exchange student.

Language of Instruction: English

University services:

Exchange students are enrooled as full-time students at the BE Program, and have access to normal studetn services. These include a free email account, student ID card and full library access. Click here for further information about facilities.

Housing:

Cost of living:

An estimated cost of living is US$300-400 per month or US$1500-2000 for one semester(five0-months). This amount covers housing, food, books and transportation.

Prior to arrival, the programs coordinator will reserve a room at Ruen Indra Court, a safe and friendly apartment across the river from the main campus, as a temporary accomodation for exchange student. After the student check out other accomodations and become familiar with the environment, he can decide to stay or move to a new aprtment.

The academic year is made up of two regular semesters plus an optinal summer session. Click here for the detailed academic calendar .

Exchange students are required to be enrolled as full-time students under the terms of their student visa. A minimal full-time enrolment is 9 credits per semester. Exchange students of the BE program are also required to take at least half of the total credits in economic courses.

Area of studies:

As an exchange student, you are able to take a wide range of economic, business as well as foundation courses fofered by hte BE Program. Click here for the list of course offerings. Exchange students are also eligible to take courses in Thai language, history and culture offered by the Thai studies Program.
